does a 66 bed fit on a 62 frame
I have a friend that looking for a fleet side bed for his 62 long bed I been seen lots of fleetside bed for 65 or 66 will they fit on a 62 frame

It will with some minor modifications. The '62 frame is wider at the rear than the later frame so you need to relocate the rear mounting tabs and a couple of bolt holes. I have a '62 bed on my '66.

42" compared to 34". you will need to get a rear cross member and re-position the cross member pads
