Trying to iron out new suspension/wheels/tires

Just want to make sure before I start ordering:

I currently have a 68 stepside that will lowered in the front with a 4.5" ECE kit. The back will be lowered using air bags.

My plan is this:

15x8 front, 4" backspace 235/70/15
15x10 rear, 4" backspace 275/60/15

I do not want the wheels sticking out past the fenders. Also, I would like the widest back wheel I can without sticking out from the fenders. Will this work without rubbing? I do realize I will have to trim the LCAs slightly. I researched for hours today, and just want to make sure this all will work before I spend the $$. My brain is fizzling out

10's will stick out past the rear fenders.
I would run 15x7's and 15x8's.

A 15x8 with 5" backspace won't work up front.
4" backspace is the max with a 15" wheel.

This truck belongs to member hot trux.

All 4 are 20x8.5's that tuck perfectly,...

I love that look, but I'm going for an old beat up sleeper. I'd like to get a set of 20s to autocross with once in a while. I think that'd be much further down the road though.

What tire sizes do you think for thje 15x and 15x8? I'd like them somewhat even, and not all 'pro streeted'. I would like to fill up the fender well more though.

That looks killer. I thought I had my mind made up on soft 8s, but it came down to those or rallyes.

I might have some rubbing issues in the front with another 1/2" of drop with 8s though.

I doubt it look closely at the space above that front tire. Maybe someone who is running your drop can chime in on my set up and your drop.

If you go with a 15x10 you need atleast 4.5 bs and then your going to have to trim id get 5.5 bs if i were going with 10 wide. I have 15x12 with 6.5 bs on mine and i trimmed the lips nearly flush with the outter skin to clear. Also be sure to get a delux adjustable track bar it will keep the side to side movement to a min. As stated 4"bs on front is max i have 15x8 with 4 " bs on front and just clears. Some have to grind spindle and a arm a touch.

I found out that the 15x8 soft 8s can come in a 4.75" backspace, so I'm going to order 15x8s all around. I may have to do some grinding, but that backspacing should help. Rallye wheels have a 4" backspace if I'm not mistaken?

Tires, I think I'll be doing 255/60/15 T/As like yours, daaaan.

I do have the adjustable panhard, and the only things left to buy are the rear shocks and the shock relocation kit.

Okay, about to pull the trigger. Here's my (more-researched) plan:

front- 15x8 4.75" bs 255/60/15
rear- 15x8 4.75" bs 275/60/15

with that backspacing, it should pull the wheels in a little. Am I right in thinking that these won't rub with how I want to lower it?

Im not sure the kit your going to use on front but if you run a 2.5 drop spindle with a 15 wheel 4"bs is max or the spindle and or control arm will contact wheel!

Ah, this is quite the juggling act...bring the wheels in far enough without going so far as to drag the rim on the control arm/spindle.
