Re: Project Lesson Plan

What do you do if you have about 500 old headlights, tail lights and turn signals? A tree of lights...

Re: Project Lesson Plan

Thanks iowaboyca, We have done a lot I just didn't bother posting it. The gauges and the wiring harness are the first money I have put into it this year. I decided it would be worth more with an aftermarket harness, it would be easier to track down a problem.
I have two guys that are really doing a good job on it. Derrick has a good vision for what I want done, Kyle usually listens and follows through. I hope to have it road worthy the next few weeks cause they wont be here next year and I have to start all over again.

Re: Project Lesson Plan

I had this harness in the truck it ran and all the lights work it was just to much of a mess to leave in it. The LED's are going to be my dash indicator lights.

This year they have,Mounted and aligned the front clip, raised the engine and redid the engine mounts, realigned the steering column, fabricated a transmission tunnel. and are now rewiring the entire truck. I bought a tech rod engine harness to make a lot simpler to figure out if a problem should arise.

I didn't realize I double posted a picture, getting old is lots of fun.

Re: Project Lesson Plan

This sets next to a BBQ smoke house near my house, The owner said it was all original, Not sure if he thinks the mirrors are original or not I didn't bother to point them out.

Thanks Bartman doing the right thing isn't easy sometimes. My youngest daughter has had a lot of medical stuff (nothing major or life threating) that has got me behind on bills. About 15 yrs ago I was working on a 66 suburban did a frame off rebuild had it to the point of body work I had to sell that one.

This one I need to straighten out the lights and exhaust, fix the seat belts, get it inspected, insured, licensed and drive it. Always the brides maid never the bride. But there will be other trucks and projects.
