Looks like a good truck for the money, but "fully loaded with every option??? " Looks like a C.S. janer to me.

the motor appears to have been changed (alt on wrong, side) didn't see a tilt, can't see if it has tach or not, but still looks decent for the piece

Re: Running 72 super cheyanne c20 cl find for 1800!!

While not a stipper Cheyenne Super it is not loaded.
Notable options are:
toolbox
350 engine
4-speed trans
radio
camper mirrors
A/C
aux tank
deluxe two tone paint
rear bumper (maybe)
sliding window (maybe)

On the flip side the alternator is a strong indicator of a NOM in itself. Missing A/C parts are expensive and an open system is just parts waiting to be replaced.
From the rust I'd say there is a lot more than meets the eye.
All said and done this is probably a true Cheyenne Super and worth somebody's time.

And it's a Custom Camper Cheyenne Super!! Yay!!! Love it! Rust bucket, but what a beauty when restored.

Good point - rust bucket probably not a correct picture - it's got some rust, but the point is that it's a gem, for 1800, someone could be on their way to a VERY desirable original truck. For me, personally, that's the holy grail: 72 Custom Camper Cheyenne Super. (except for a C20 Highlander Custom Camper, of course...)

Re: Running 72 super cheyanne c20 cl find for 1800!!

Looks like a can of worms to me... I agree with the above that its not the original 350, and the heater hoses bypass the heater core... so it's probably rotted out.

Looks like a $1,000 dollar truck.

He takes trades...

Nice equipment level. White and Hugger Orange with a parchment interior. Bet this carried a camper a lot of miles. The rear window was a factory slider and the rear bumper is an add on.

Cool - it's almost the 2wd brother of my K20 with the black GB door to match. My Flint built orange/parchment Super also has a black GB door. This is what a St. Louis truck? Go for it!

Re: Running 72 super cheyanne c20 cl find for 1800!!

I'm going to look at the truck this afternoon. The owner has dropped the price and come to find out the truck is just a few miles away from my location so I have to check it out...

I'm taking cash with me so we will see. I don't need it but damn it would be a cool addition to the fleet.

Razorbacker, did you buy this truck?

Off topic,
BTW; do you know any history on the truck in your avatar? I had one that looks like it 20 or so years ago. I sold it to a guy named Barnes and lost track after that.
