Heater hoses
Are the hoses 2 different diameters? I bought som 3/4 heater hose but its to large to go on the tilting in the intake. Must be 5/8"?

So if I'm standing at the front of the truck looking at the lines coming through the firewall, which one goes to the water pump?

lookin at da firewall left copper line goes to the waterpump - right copper line goes to the intake port next to the themostat ----

I've never figured out the "why" either but GM has done that on almost everything since they built. I'd imagine it has something to do with helping the coolant flow back to the water pump.

It's common practice to make the suction side larger than the pressure side on a liquid pumping system. The water pump is the suction side.
