turn signal indicator
I WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE ON THEIR FEEDBACK TO MY QUESTIONS.
I'M HAVING A SOLID INSTRUMENT BEZEL MADE OUT OF ALUMINUM INSTALLING VDO GUAGES (WHAT SHOULD/COULD BE DONE FOR TURN SIGNAL INDICATORS. I RATHER WORK ON A OLD TRUCK THAN A F-16 ANY DAY OF THE WEEK ![]() |

LED indicators come to mind. A couple small green ones for turn signals and a blue one in the center for high beams.

Workin on army stuff sucks. Been there, done that, got the scars to prove it. It is all junk...like a Ford F-150.

I think if you are having one made get some arrows cut into it and then put the lights behind that. I have never been a big fan of LED's on bezel's. But that might be because I have old school taste and not a modern man.

Fiberoptics might be cool. Could drill a bunch of small holes to any pattern you like.

You think Army stuff sucks?!?!? Marines get all the Army's old stuff they can't fix anymore!!! I've seen CH-53's(Helicopters) with chicken wire on the Tailshaft to help cover holes and beer bottle caps welded over bullet holes!!!

cool,(machinist also)you can buy "colored" lights at like radio shack,,,maybe like .250 dia,,,drill an 1/8" hole thru the face of the dash so the wires will fit thru, then use a 1/4 " end mill and put a c"bore on the face of the dash, just deep enough for the light to fit flush,,,,
