Remove rear leaf/flip kit

I have an 87 C10 SWB, I was going to install a flip kit in the rear but it looks like a prior owner removed a leaf spring. Does anyone know how many inches a typical rear leaf removal will take off? Looking at it I don't think a flip kit will work without a c notch so I am going to use a shackle and hanger drop.
I have a set of 2.5 drop spindles and plan on cutting one spring. I don't want it to have the drag a*^ look, I want it to be level.

Any ways any one have experience taking out a rear leaf spring and how much did that take it down?

Thanks

None.. But I do slow down on speed bumps and tracks.. Other than that I drive it like a race truck with no problems..

Re: Remove rear leaf/flip kit

Bigdog can you post a pic, I did the front and I think I am going to do a flip kit and get some used unmolested leaf springs for the back.
