Vintage Air Cab Pics?
Just what the title says. Looking for pictures of the installed unit inside the cab. Want to see how it compares to the original A/C stuff.
Thanks! |

Another option for you. Mine has an Old Air Products unit. Company based out of Ft Worth Tx. I got bold and cut factory vents into mine, just liked that look much better. Included a picture of under the hood also. You have a choice there of smooth firewall or not. Mine is the standard setup.

Re: Vintage Air Cab Pics?
Looks good! Do you know if you can use the original A/C controls in that unit?

Re: Vintage Air Cab Pics?
Yes you can. Mine was not a factory air cab so didnt go that route. I think you can even use just the heater cab controls to control this unit. I know a lot use vintage air and they are highly sought after but wanted to present you an option. Here is a quote from their site and the link to the page:
http://www.oldairproducts.com/catalo...120132107.html "These Custom Hurricane A/C, Heat, Cool & Defrost systems for 1967-72 Chevrolet Trucks Include adapters to use the original Factory louvers. Choose from complete or inside only packages with electronic slide control or integrated switching for the original factory Heater or A/C control." |

magwakeenercew2jh That interior is amazing. What seats are those? Are the dimensions for C20 cab much different from C10 cab?

Re: Vintage Air Cab Pics?
Does the original fan speed switch work on the vintage air unit with the Factory A/C controls or is it incororated into one of the three sliding units? I thought i read somewhere that it's different.

Re: Vintage Air Cab Pics?
I am installing a new vintage air kit right now. Really nice kit but could use a couple little things to make it great. I think it is a lot better than the older kits. I will try to post a few pics soon.
