Re: Any LT1 350 owners on here?

Im about 300 miles from the car but my father lives right there nearby so I had him go by and take a few pictures. He forgot to take one of the main thing......THE MOTOR.

But.....you can see, it has plenty of usable parts to sell and help cover some of the cost of rebuilding the LT1350. I was wrong though and it is an Automatic Tranny.

Anyone know what Transmission would have been in this car?

Here's a picture of the engine stands. The Right stands Back edge actually hangs off the crossmember A little bit To give clearance for the compressor. You can Build and L bracket to bolt it or just weld it to the crossmember I can't find my picture of that right now . I made a bracket and bolted it down. If you buy the bracket to move the compressor to the other side You can move the motor mount forward in the bolthole for the compressor And solve that problem. Gas tank is out of a jeep wrangler look at post above.

The most expensive one piece I had to buy was the transmission tail housing kit To make the speedometer work But you have to buy that for any engine and transmission swap. If you don't take the Trans Am let me know and I'll come get it lol

Re: Any LT1 350 owners on here?

I've got a 96 LT1 in my truck and love it. I moved the passenger motor mount on the motor to the the standard sbc location. Had to grind the bracket a little. I notched my frame for the AC. Basically the part that is bent up from factory, I bent that portion down. I got my harness from techrods and works awesome. Tell him what you want and done. $410 with the fan option I got. The fuel system will be the biggest expense. Got my lines from pure choice motorsports. I went with a tanks Inc PA series fuel pump. Went with the bigger one for $10 extra. Fired over fist try. Oh, you'll need posi now if you don't have it.
