Tire size question

I recently purchased a '92 Suburban. It has the stock alloy wheels and 235x75x15 tires.
I wanted to change out the wheels for factory chrome ones (it's all I can afford right now, I found a set of Astro van wheels and tires on Craigslist. The tires are 215x75x15. Is there any reason I shouldn't use them? They only have 3000 miles on them, much better than what I currently have.

Re: Tire size question

Long as the load rating is comparable than IDE say you're good.

Re: Tire size question

Thanks.
I probably should have added, it's a 2WD.

Re: Tire size question

The new tires will work fine. Just remember that your speedometer reading will be a little off since the diameter of your new tires is smaller than the diameter of your old tires. There should be calculators online that will tell you what the speed difference will be.

Re: Tire size question

I thought the bolt pattern for the truck and astro were different.

I believe that both are 5 on 5.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
Worse case, I got 4 great tires for $125.!!
