New door panel/interior thread

It seems like a good time to make a thread like this again.....I haven't seen a newer thread like this. And I am starting to shop for door panels. I'm leaning toward doing some like the 68 trucks have (the vinyl with vertical lines sewn in)....

But I'm up for getting ideas......and its an excuse to see pics of these trucks because I love looking at pics of our trucks!

So post up what you have as far as door panels and interior

Let's see it all...budget build, daily drivers and super show

Re: New door panel/interior thread

My '69 daily driver. The door panels are somewhat rare, where they have the tooling AND the Chevrolet logo at the top. They used to be even more rare, when they were one year only '69 navy blue. I converted the interior to black, because I like the contrast with the light blue paint and because they don't make navy replacement parts anymore.

Re: New door panel/interior thread

1st attempt on my 71 was to re-paint the metal panel.....messed that up on one panel. Didn't pre-clean well enough.

Decided to cover in black medium grain vinyl for round two.

Then added the hounds tooth insert when I got my seats done.

Re: New door panel/interior thread

Relatively stock. Seat is not original to the truck (it had the black/grey plaid) and painted glove box due to some severe scratches.

2004 Dodge Ram 1500 seats, minus the headrests. Had to do some modification and fabrication to mount them. But power, with lumbar, console, storage under the console, and looks of CST seats....priceless!
