What is it and what is it worth?
Not for sure where it really came from, it was on one of my trucks I bought years ago. Pitted really bad.

Re: What is it and what is it worth?
To be exact it is a 1956 Chevrolet passenger car hood ornament or often times referred to as a hood bird.
Reproductions go for 160 - 200. A really clean original will bring 100. I just sold a real nice 1955 Chevy hood bird on ebay bay 80.00 Hope this helps. |

Looks like with its' value (or lack thereof) it is something to hang up somewhere as a conversation piece

Re: What is it and what is it worth?
A rechromed original is worth more than a reproduction. Don't rely on Ebay as your sole reference of value. Lots of people who don't know anything on there and prices vary due to the nature of auctions
