removing body lift

i am in the process of removing the body lift from my blazer and was wondering if i have to replace the body bushings with new ones or can i jus remove the black rubber piece and leave the red?

The red bushings will give you less flex if thats what you want.The only thing that might be wrong is are they(red uppers) thick enough by themselves not to let the body touch the frame.

You can take out just the black body lift and be fine . The red bushing's look like my black poly mount's..

Um as far as I know, jack up the body, take out the spacer, then drop it back down and use shorter bolts to re-attach it

You may have an issue with the steering linkage. The p.o. for my truck extended the steering shaft under the hood and welded it solid. I had to remove it and replace it with a shorter stock one.

If it's an auto tranny they probably lenghtened the shift rod. also they may have extended the fuel filler line and vent
