Broken Charcoal Canister Valve

Working on a 1972 C-10 w/ 350.

When I was removing the vacum lines from the valve on top of the charcoal canister I broke the plastic fitting the line goes on. Here is a link to a picture of it I found doing a Google search.http://i1002.photobucket.com/albums/...DSC00628_2.jpg

Are replacement valves available new or do I need to go search for one at the junk yard? I have searched online but I haven't found what I am looking for.

Thanks!

Re: Broken Charcoal Canister Valve

I guess I will try the junkyard, none of my local parts stores can find it in their computers.

Thanks...I am going to try to repair what I broke with some JB Weld, if I cant, I will find one or just not use it.

Re: Broken Charcoal Canister Valve

Ended up fixing my broken fitting, used a ball point pen refill and some JB Weld.

We will see how it does.
