Re: shortbox stance
My avatar pic is a 4/6 drop with 15" tires. I know not exactly what you are looking for, but, that's all I have.

Re: shortbox stance
Well, if we're doing 4/6, here's where mine started. Actually, it's 4.5/6 (spindles and springs). No matter that there are no front finders. Motor wasn't in it, anyway.
But this may tell you the basic stance with 15's. The second pic is the same suspension set up with 20's a little later in the build..

Re: shortbox stance
5/5 may be a little hard to come by. Mine is 4/6 ECE with 15" but the rear seems to be more of a 5" stance in the rear. Think she was short of fuel in the relocated tank in this picture. Bring the front up an inch and I think you got what you are looking for.

Re: shortbox stance
You'll need 3" spindles and 2" springs for the best 5" front drop. It'll have quite a rake though you'll have to realize. Look at the rake on a 4/6 and add 2" more. rake to it... Obviously it's the same rake as the factory has, but as you lower the truck it is much more noticeable...

Re: shortbox stance
would you have to c-notch the frame if you go with a 5 inch drop coil in the back

Re: shortbox stance
There are people with 6" drops with no c-notch....so no...you don't have to...but if you plan to haul a lot in the bed you should notch it....and if you plan to haul (or tow) I'd recommend the HD CPP notch or a notch with plating added on the inside as well

Re: shortbox stance
Something else to consider is the shock relocation brackets. Anything over 3-4" I'd suggest them. (Notched or not..)

Re: shortbox stance
I ran across the T-70's at a show in Pigeon Forge, TN a few years ago. They were in excellent shape, and I couldn't pass them up. They are 8's all the way around. Those wheels seem to look good on anything.
