Re: wood Bed kit ?
Yep! .. I did my own for $157 total investment. GMCPauls has the GM measurements and exact specs of the wood on their website.

Re: wood Bed kit ?
What CC69Rat said is absolutely correct. GMC Pauls website lists the exact measurements of the cuts, widths and lengths needed to make a nice looking bed.

Re: wood Bed kit ?
It is cheaper do do it yourself. I have done several myself and cut al the wood out. IF you have the tools for it. But if not you can try Mar-k. They have a pine kit which is about the cheapest you can buy and the regular steel strips. Maybe another board vendor will be cheaper !!!! I done about a dozen of them. Not much to it.

Re: wood Bed kit ?
I used Trex decking. Pretty indestructable. Used a stacking dado blade on my table saw to cut the grooves. Had to drill new holes in the cross sills and increased the length of the bolts as the Trex is thicker than 3/4 lumber. Not as pretty as the fine woodwork these guys do---for sure, but it wont get eaten up by the Texas sun here.

Re: wood Bed kit ?
Is yours a short or long bed? The reason I'm asking is I have some strips I'll sell ya cheap. They are not polished stainless.. they are the kind you paint to match.
