Re: Thought you guys might like this auction

It would have been so cool to walk through there before they decided to sell. Sounds like the owner knew the story for each one of them...can't imagine how cool that would be!

I'm actually going to be making a trip up to that auction. Even if I don't get anything bought, you'll never see anything like this again.

I really wonder what kind of parts are left on the shelfs that would fit our trucks.

Re: Thought you guys might like this auction

I read through the list of cars they have...man there's a few (14 I think) 67-72's on there. I'd love to see the '69 with 64K original miles! Or the '72 with 4 miles!

Re: Thought you guys might like this auction

The article that was written by the son of the owners was well worth the read.
Mind boggling to think that they kept all those cars instead of just marking them down and sending them out the door... Makes me wonder if they were being written off as a "loss" on their taxes. Doesn't matter... hopefully they'll be enjoyed now.

Man, that list is amazing! I wonder what the cars look like have been sitting for so long. If anyone goes you MUST take pictures.

Re: Thought you guys might like this auction

I wonder what it would really take to get some of those really low mileage vehicles drivable?
