Re: Early 78-83 Intermittant wiper switch and relay

I got on my -77 an wiper motor from an -85 there I had to cut of the connection ball and weld it on the -85 wiper arm. I also got a wiper switch and the electronic box of an early -82-85 something and wired it all together. I can take pictures of the actual wires if you want to.

Thanks for the input. I would like to see pictures. If I understand correctly you put an 85 or so wiper motor on your 77 truck and you welded the part that connects to the wiper arm assembly onto the 85 motor? It that is correct sounds like a good way to do it.

Re: Early 78-83 Intermittant wiper switch and relay

Yes that is correct I had to weld that little ball from the 77 assembly on to the 85 wiper motor arm. They where different sizes, and it was easy to do that. I just hand filed the ball's weld off from the back of the 77 wiper motor arm.
I can take pictures of the wiring in a couple of days.
Sorry about my last post I was tired and I had to think how I did it+ english is my second language.
