Pulling A/C?
I am going to be pulling a motor soon and wanted to what is the correct way
to remove the air conditioning? I will be replacing the A/C pump with something new |

If your system still has a charge you should visit an AC shop and have the refrigerant recycled

It came with the belt disconnected, So I am going to guess that it doesn't work.
But I am not 100% |

Sometimes it's possible to remove the compressor and leave the hoses connected. Depends on how yours is hooked up. If you can put a fender cover under it and use a bungie to keep it out of the way, you won't necessarily have to lose the charge. If you do need to remove the hoses, you could hook a recharge gauge to it and see if it's still under pressure.
