Fuel sending unit disconnect. Need some help here
All,
I am trying to replace the sending unit in my in cab tank. The truck is a 69. I cannot seem to loosen the fittings on the gas line. Anything I am doing wrong. How do I get the damn unit out if I cannot but the fuel line free from the unit itself? |

Finally broke lose and wouldnt you know it... LMC send the 4 barrel 5/8" sending unit and I need the 5/16". Darn the luck.

Well problem solved. Decided to switch the new float with the old one and re install the old unit. Viola.... Working fuel gauge. I feel like I am talking to myself.
