Cab repair question
Ok getting ready to have some repair work done on my cab. but have a few questions about the floor pans,
first off the drivers side inner and outer rockers are in good shape just little bit of rust in cab corner. I need to replace the floor pan on the drivers side for sure. it's been hashed from years of collected dirt and mud under the mat and starting to get weak in a couple spots. I'm not sure on repair panels what I need....would like to keep from having to completely redo the rockers too. Different places list parts and I'm not sure what would be best . Here's what I'm looking at ..... Oh and floor braces are solid also just part of the floor is bad. Which of these would work best, without to much other work? Thanks! http://www.classicparts.com/1973-91-.../#.UcqB-yq9KSM http://www.classicparts.com/1973-91-.../#.UcqCTSq9KSM Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Cab repair question
Either one should work for you, just keep in mind you don't need to use the entire patch panel. I was always told to keep as much original metal as possible, and only replace the part that is rusted out.

Re: Cab repair question
never hurts to ask.
This is just my opinion, but I would go with the OEM style not the cover, I think they are usually cheaper. -Sam

Re: Cab repair question
That's what we did on my boys 80. It needed parts of both pans, inner rockers, full rockers and inner/outer cab corners, front cab mounts and a section of the one longitudanal cab brace. Bought outer rockers, cab corners and mounts and made everything else. As far as cutting, cut everything that has rot and that part that has thinned from surface rust. patch from there.
