Those rubber things in your hand are the door stop bumpers.
Just above and below the door latch, in the side of the cab, next to the door seal, there should be one.
Two on each door jamb, on both sides of the truck.

If they are not there already, then there will be holes for them to pop into.

You will want an LMC catalog.
Not only is it a decent source for parts, but the catalog serves as a guide to where stuff goes. Particularly rubber bumpers, seals and pads.
