need quick rim question answered

I am looking at some 10" welds for my 70 lwb 5 lug. Will a 10" rim with only 3.5 in back spacing fit with 295/50's ? I am not lowering the truck at all. does anyone know if they will still fit inside the wheel wells?

thats exactly what i took off my truck. no, theywill not fit under the wheel wells. if your not lowering it, theyll work fine. thats how we rolled in the 80's. haha.

you need 5" backspace on a 15x10 to fit in the wheel wells

They do not stick out past the bed side do they. I will never lower my truck and will not be hauling much weight but I just don't want it to look ugly. The guy claims he took them off a 72 2wd blazer. he has 275/50/15 on them and I will be using 295/50/15's.

Not sure on backspacing, but I had 295/50/15 on the rear of mine for a while. I think the bs is whatever the standard would be on 15x10 Cragar SS.....
