Re: What did you do to your truck today!

I finished my under hood wiring cleanup project. It included running the wires properly through new firewall and radiator cable channels. Also any and all erroneous wire performing no function that was installed by the PO was removed. All wires exposed were wrapped in black wire tape. I also reattached the cowl after installing a more period correct antenna, trash guards and a new hood to cowl seal. On the engine I replaced the painted water neck with a nice polished aluminum version to tie into my aluminum covers and cleaner. During the wiring project I broke a front side marker lens so I replaced them all new on all four corners.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Removed grill and surround. Removed, cleaned and painted surround supports.
Cleaned and painted rad support. Bought new lights and grommets for the new to me 10' flat bed. Started to install new hdw on new grill and surround.
4 day weekend coming up and hope to get new grills and bumper installed, then blast and paint the flatbed.
