Got her dropped!!!

Finally got my truck lowered this weekend. I installed new shorter coils springs up front, and a flip bracket on the rear from forum member specialty retail. I also installed some shock extenders. The front didn't drop as much as expected, so it sits a little higher than the rear. Any suggestions on that? Big thanks to Leevon for all the advice. All in all, I am pretty happy with the finished product. I will be super happy once I get her completely level. What do yall think???

Re: Got her dropped!!!

If the springs are new give them a few hundred miles and then re-evaluate. Looks good.

Re: Got her dropped!!!

You did a flip kit in back and its only slightly lower then the front with just coils? That doesn't make any sence to me. My 79 was 5" in front and a flip kit in back the the rear was only slightly higher then the front, meaning yours should be nose high by alot. Did you use 3" coils? Sell them and buy 3" sprindles and 1" or 2" coils.

Re: Got her dropped!!!

I live in Palestine. And yes, I just used coils in the front, and I might buy spindles in the future if it doesn't level out in a couple months.

Re: Got her dropped!!!

I did the exact same thing as you and got the same results. I ended up buying a set of air shocks for the rear and leave them air up slightly. It keeps it level and gives an ok ride for what it is.
