C10 with 88+ feet side short bed

88+ step sides on 67-72 C10s seem to be plentiful but I've searched the web to try and see what a fleet short would look like with no luck. So today looking through Craigslist I found a guy selling a C10 with a fleet short. I figured I would just post it here in case anyone else looking might find this.

Me too

I wonder what it would look like if someone grafted in a round wheel well opening instead of the one with the flat top. Make it match the front fender wheel well opening.

This one belonged to Joe McPherson in CA. It was featured in one of the truck rags, maybe SportTruck. Notice that it has the 88-98 wheel opening on the front fenders, something that looks unremarkable until you consider the work. It was an awesome truck.

I looks good, but I prefer the stock opening.

I appreciate all the work/hours to do this but it's not for me. Although someone had a lot of skill to pull it off.

Re: C10 with 88+ feet side short bed

I've seen one in person, it's looks *ok* in the pics, but in person it's obvious it's the wrong bed. The bed sides/cab curves don't match and there's still an indent above the body line kick out on the bed. I think it looks worse than the stepside, because now you have body curves that don't match as well.

Nah, the late model still doesn't line up.
