64 GMC Turn signal switch
Can anybody tell me where I can purchase a 64 3/4 ton GMC Turn signal switch? The are not the same as the Chevy turn signal switch. I have already tried Classic Industries and there's does not come with the horn ring and I think the upper barring, LMC does not carry them either. Is the 63 chevy switch the same as the 64 GM? That is what the classic Parts Catalog is showing?

Re: 64 GMC Turn signal switch
I would ask over at the 6066 GMC site. they have the info you need. I think I printed out a link from there that indicated that a "63 Chevy turn signal is required for the 64 -66 GMC, but I don't have it readily available. I can check it later.
In the meantime, check out the 6066 GMC site. Different then when Jolly was running the show, but still good folks over there willing to help. http://6066gmcclub.com/forum/index.php |

Yes, the 1963 Chevy switch will fit your 1964 GMC. Did you try to repair your original switch? The aftermarket switches are much lesser quality. After trying one I went back to my original that had a broken wire that I soldered. Regards, Steve New Orleans |

Re: 64 GMC Turn signal switch
Thank for all your responses and help. The 63 Chevy switch is the same as the 64-66 GMC switch. My original switch disintegrated in my hand when I tried to take it out of the truck.
