gauges
getting ready to change from dummy lights to gauges i have checked gmcpauls site out and dont see a problem.but on the plug HOW DO YOU GET THEM DA@N WIRES OUT OF THE PLUG.I DIDNT WANT TO PULL TO HARD ON THEM and mess up thanks

cut 'em
I cut the plug off and used a Painless gauge harness. or did I miss something? Good luck, Scott

im putting the original type in it instead of the dummy lights and you have to change the wires around in the plug so you dont have to put in a new harness

The connectors have a small tang on them, that hold them in the plug.use a small tool to depress the tang then you can pull the wire out. I use a little screwdriver.

thanks mine look different than that but ill check it again tommaro i put headlight switch and new heater controls in and by the time i got to the wires i was froze so i probally overlooked it got to get a garage built lol
