Talking olds Bravada rear disc differential in a 1972 coil spring truck

I'm sure this has been posted before but please bare with me i would like to ask those of you who have installed the olds Bravada rear disc rear end in your coil spring truck, if
You could post a few pics of the inztall and what you had to do to make it fit/ work?

Are you referring to the Oldsmobile that is based off the Chevy S-10 Blazer? I don't think that will fit, as it's too narrow. It's also a 5x4.75 bolt pattern, whereas the full size trucks are 5x5. I could be wrong, but I don't think it will work.

Mike,
Yeah, that's the one. Just looking for a alternative to rear disc/posi rear ends to swap out. the 1997 & up explorer's are about 1/2" narrower but pretty stout, I'd rather keep the GM parts though. I'm trying to search and see if anyone has had any luck with these. Thanks for the input.

THe 2wd s10 is 54" total width.
4x4 is 58".
ZR2 4x4 is 62" wide.

Why not a simple rear disc conversion on the 12 bolt that is already in there? The Impala SS rear disc conversion is inexpensive and works great. Plus you wont have to cut and weld new axle perches, get adapters for your wheel bolt pattern, etc...
