This is not new but I went to .023 from .036 for the body work and had a lot less grinding to do.

it is .023 that I'm using.

The welds looked big, another thing I have done is do the weld on the back side where possible and it gives a lot less to grind down. I know this does not apply to a lot of our projects on these trucks.Peace out.
