While trying to identify correct duel horn setup, I ran into this post that had a picture of an aux battery tray. Thought it would help ya.

The relay doesn't mount to the inner fender in the OEM set up. It mounts to either the tray or rad support - can't remember exactly which but certain it isn't the inner fender. I'll see where we mounted the relay on my K20. Here's a pic that shows the J-block on the fender:

If I remember correctly, it mounts to the core support, next to the regulator. If I had my assembly manual, I would look it up for you, but its at home...

That is where I put mine when I installed the aux battery.

Re: Anyone have OEM Auxiliary Battery (RPO TP2) or Rear Seat Center Belt (RPO A68)?

My '72 Jimmy had the center rear belt, but it was not on the SPID. It had AM/FM and cruise control, and that was not on the SPID either. We got it used in '77 so previous owner may have had dealer add?

It has aux batt tray now, but I added that.

Just looked at the aux. tray, does have holes in the side, but none seem to line up exactly for the relay

Those holes are for the voltage regulator and originally had rubber grommet inserts....

I had (have been since sold) the center rear belt as well as front and rear shoulder belts, on the SPID as 4A85AG.

So my 72 K5 has a center rear seat belt but this isn't listed on the SPID. Did all 72's w a rear seat get a center belt?
