Re: rebuilding the Th350, what are your experience and tips

I had a problem w/ shift kit on other trans.

Simple heli-coil project turned nightmare when drill bit broke. Don't know how to verify if bit is good quality.

Meet all factory specs.

Do air pressure function checks before mounting valve body.

Use vaseline if need to hold parts for assembly. ATF soak clutches. ATF or better assembly lube during assembly.

Double check torques w/ accurate wrench. I stripped thread following mfg torque spec.

Fill TC before assembly.

Verify TC fully seated.
