Inside frame gas tank

So the project im doing I need the tank inside the frame in the rear. Hows best way to mount it and what type of tank should I use. Was going to do the blazer swap but those set to low for my taste.

Thanks

Re: Inside frame gas tank

If you buy a new blazer tank you could section it to the depth you desire, and this was what I was going to do to my truck before I decided my C20 is staying high for a rally truck look.

You could use a Mustang tank from the 60's, and this is what I want to do with my project F100 truck. They don't hang down to far, and if you use the 16 it can be lifted up a bit for more clearance.

Or you could get a in the cab tank, and put it inside the bed up against the cab. I seen this done too with diamond plate covering it for a better appearance. Or you could use corrugated metal like the bed floor to make it uniform. This is one option I will look into with my project F100 at least temporarily to get storage behind the seat. My bench is shot so I want to do buckets asap when I get it road worthy for daily driving.
