My trucks

I joined a while back when I got my k5 but haven't been around much. I am here to stay now cause I have jumped in with two feet. Here is my new daily driver and my weekend wheeler. Both are in great shape and have 305s. I paid $800 for the k5 with a blown motor and traded my old driver for the c10. Specs on both:

C10 1985 custom deluxe. 4 speed, 4.5/5 drop(flip kit, coils, spindles, upper control arms, new shocks). Future plans are to get shackles, notch, drop blocks for the rear and new lower control arms to drop it more.

k5 1985 Silverado edition, full options, towing, power, tilt, everything. 700r/208/10bolts, 4in rough country lift, 35s. Future plans include 2in body lift and 15x10 chevy truck rallys that are getting cleaned up and painted now.

Re: My trucks

got this beater too but I think its going to the scrapyard. after I pull the running gear to squirrel away. I paid $1000 for it with brand new 35s whick I put on the blazer. has a crate 350 and other miscellaneous parts that will also be swapped. truck ran great but the trans is starting to make noise and the body is very beat up and neglected.

Re: My trucks

That parts rig doesn't look bad in the pic. I always try to part something out first though see if i can help another person out. Is it full of bondo?

Re: My trucks

Yea its beat pretty bad. Bon do everywhere. Very little rust if any though. Doors shot, roof dented like someone jumped on it, bed full of bondo. If I had another body I would consider fixing it. I have to limit the money pits though. Lol

Re: My trucks

I am going to order up a bolt in notch and a set of drop shackles. That should bring the rear down 2in. I have a lot of room left on my rear bolts. Is there any reason o can't use a regular 1in lift block to drop the rear more? And also I have drop coils and spindles. If I want yo go lower in the front are lower arms pretty much my next option? Thanks
