Glove box emblem question

I have a glove box door off a 70' cab that had the "Custom 10" emblem. It has 3 holes on the door.

Does the "Cheyenne" emblem fit the same hole pattern? Not concerned about the "Super" one that can be underneath.

Re: Glove box emblem question

I think the holes for Cheyenne Super and CST and Custom are all different. Yours just said Chevrolet Custom. Only the fender emblem says "10". Cheyennes had no glovebox door emblem. In 71/72 only Cheyenne Supers did.

Re: Glove box emblem question

Sorry, I should have added I want to use the door in a '71 cab. If the cheyenne emblem wont fit I would use the custom 10 to cover the holes. I just know it will bother me knowing it shouldn't be in a '71 cab.

Re: Glove box emblem question

Like I said, there were no Cheyenne emblems anyway. Only Cheyenne Super. Customs in 71/72 were the base level and didn't get an emblem anymore. Custom Deluxe, which was 71/72-only,never had one either. If you don't have a Cheyenne Super,no emblem should be in your '71 cab,if being correct is important to you. If you have a '71 Custom I think it would be kinda cool to have the emblem. Not correct, yet says what it should say if they did put emblems on. I like that better than having an emblem saying what it isn't. But,that's just what I like.
