Why cant I bleed my rear brakes?

While there may be an issue in the proportioning valve, reading the above post stating that he can get fluid up to the backing plate, but not through the wheel cylinder to me looks like the problem resides in the wheel cylinders.

Keep us posted on the resolution. I am interested.
