Nitto Terra Grappler, they are pretty much all terrain. Came with the rims... I want a 33' with a little more meat on them.

Re: Updated Pics 72' K2500
Yeah,I like 16" rims because I like more meat on a 4wd. Obviously 33s will have less meat than the 35s

The 18's with 33. Are a little more rim but for mostly street driving I love less sidewall flex. :-)

Re: Updated Pics 72' K2500
I guess I just don't understand what you're trying to say by more meat by going to a smaller tire. I've run 37" tall tires on 15" rims and never had "side deflection" issues. It's not a sports car

Re: Updated Pics 72' K2500
I've lifted every truck I've ever owned and although this is the oldest I know they don't handle like my audi. I like the look of the larger tire and smaller rim but for everyday driving I like the taller rim and less tire. I don't do a whole lot of off road and with the value and condition of this truck wouldn't want to tear it up. For that I would get a late 70s or early 80s 1/2 ton. This I believe was originally a 2tone orange white truck and haven't decided which way to go eventually. If I went back with trim and two tone I'd run those wide vintiques and get some caps. But not sure if I want the rust and all that come with all those trim holes. With the single color and no trim I think looks better with aftermarket wheels etc.

Re: Updated Pics 72' K2500
I like the no-trim look. These trucks have great looking bodies and it's nice to have no trim to detract from that. I agree that custom wheels look right on a solid color...not that steelies don't,too...or custom wheels with 2-tone.It all looks good, but the wheels stand out on an uncluttered body.

Re: Updated Pics 72' K2500
And by meat I meant tread. Lol. The allterrain types are little bland.
