Is it worth it? BOUGHT IT!

I posted this a week or so back and ended up buying the truck. A 69 with a sbc 89k on the clock. This was a one owner truck and when the guy was in his 80's he had the manual trans removed and an auto installed. The pedals and manual column are still there. It also has an add on extra fuel tank and air. I paid $1900 and drove it home.

Cool truck. Looks like you have the one year only '69 navy blue interior. My '69 also came with that. Be warned that they don't make replacement parts in that color anymore, which is why I switched to black. It appears that your door panels are not original, due to the type and the shade of blue.

Anyway, have fun with it. Looks like a solid start

Thanks for the heads up on the blue interior. The visors are good and the dash isn't terrible, the door panels I think are original I pulled one off to fix the door latch and the navy blue was still around the edges. Someone repainted the interior of the doors and must have done the panels as well...they were never removed.

It started to bug me all the different shades of blue too. The visors are different than the dash. Dash is different from steering column, etc. I finally just said forget it, and went with black

Re: Is it worth it? BOUGHT IT!

Mister-B your interior looks great! I can see why you chose to go a different color with the black, there are about 4 shades of blue in my truck now! I have been looking for a truck I could make a rat rod out of but will most likely re paint the interior so thats all fresh, probably close to original blue and white.

You didn't buy that truck, you "stole it"! Nice buy. I paid that much for mine and had to tow it home and fill it with buckets of money before it looked as good as yours.

I bought it from Brothers. It is their most basic, least expensive all vinyl seat cover. I installed it myself. Very pleased with how it turned out, and it's holding up well
