hesatation what could it be?

I have a slight hesitation when going up hills but fine other ways. What could it be? stock 350 with a quadujet on it sm465/np205

Carb or timing...Take carb apart and clean and inspect replace pieces if needed, its cheap and good maintenance if you have done it. Then check timing, then adjust carb mixture at idle etc...

Change the filter in the carb first.
