Re: hood question?

Yes it will BUT you might need to change the locking pin that is currently on your truck.....be sure to get the hinges, springs, latch and locking pin if you do it.

That is a 1960 Chevy hood....the 61 had the cross bar inserts.

Re: hood question?

Measure the space between the mounting holes....I think they are the same but I am not positive about that.

maybe you can answer another question as it seem you have same style truck as me. how are the outer bed sills ( i guess that is what they are called ) attached , refer to photo. i see this one bolt on each side toward tailgate, but that is the only one, the rest of way up is solid cant move it but no bolts..

Lots of spot welds from the factory.

YES on hood and looks like a 63 long fleet side so bumpers should work too.

Re: hood question?

Bumper from 63-66 will bolt on. 60-62 had a wider frame so the hole locations wouldnt match your 66.

Re: hood question?

If you are not interested in that hood, and it is in good shape, I might like to try and buy it. PM me if it is still available (60 hood)

Thanks, Kieth

Re: hood question?

Lasher I'd snag the passenger (and driver if it's there) short arm mirror bracket off the 63. OEM brackets are getting harder to find.

Re: hood question?

junk yards in lower missouri suck..only one around that even has the one truck and go over during thier operating hours and low and behold they are closed at 330 in afternoon..sfter a forty mile drive. all other yards have already crushed our beloved trucks. anyone know of any yards in lower missouri that still have em?
