Problem With Testing My Air Ride System
I finally got everything hooked up on my Accuair e-Level kit last night and was hoping to test everything out. My truck project doesn't currently have any wiring in it. I connected everything per Accuair's instructions and I am using their power kit to the battery as well. When I hooked up the cable to my battery my compressors (I have dual compressors) run for about 2 seconds and then shut off. I have the battery on a charger as well. Is the battery I'm using not powerful enough to run the compressors? Just not sure why the compressors run for a couple seconds and then shut off and never start back up?
Thanks

Re: Problem With Testing My Air Ride System
I believe the ECM will shut off the compressors if it detects low voltage. This is a safeguard to protect the compressors from draining the battery if a leak occurs. How many volts is coming from the battery and feeding the system? It should be a continuous 13.8V. I know you said it was on a charger, but I would check that first and go from there. Let us know what your findings are.

Re: Problem With Testing My Air Ride System
Thanks. I'll check the voltage at the battery when I get home tonight. Do I need to have the orange 12V switched wire connected to the battery to test the system?

Re: Problem With Testing My Air Ride System
Yes, that is supposed to go to a keyed power source, but in your situation for testing purposes, you can touch it to the battery to power.

Re: Problem With Testing My Air Ride System
I think not having the orange wire connected to the battery was my issue. Connected it and everything seems to be working perfect now. Thanks for responses.

There's a short video on my build thread.
