Please keep any and all NEGATIVE nonconstructive comments to yourselves or I will be happy to respond to them via PM. I know this isn't normally a problem on this board but there is a particular member that seems to respond negatively to almost everyone's posts. I have been trying to buy this particular emblem for over a year. It was out of town so I could only contact the seller when I was there. We would exchange texts every time I was in town and just never could seem to get together. Finally he just quit responding. Well this last weekend I was at the swapmeet and found it! The original seller gave all of his Chevy/GMC stuff to this vendor. I was able to purchase it but don't have a GMC this year(both of mine are 1977) I have researched and even sold a couple of the used ones. There are no new ones currently for sale. I just don't know how to price a NOS one. Normally I would just put this at auction and see what it sells for but Ebay has changed and as I do this for a living the Auctions just don't seem to work for me anymore. Buy it Nows are the way to go. On items for auction so many people seem to just watch and forget or don't seem to bid for whatever reason. I would appreciate any POSITIVE input via PM if you prefer.

Though it's not NOS, I bought an original one with both tabs in tact for $30. It was in fair shape and was only offered with the "buy it now" option on ebay. Maybe you can base something off that

Man we have all seen some simple nos pieces go for thousands on eBay so really that's up in the air. I can see $100 out of a dash emblem to the right guy easily.

I have bought and sold NOS items since 2001. Being a late model emblem, I would price this with a reserve of $80 and hope for 2 people to get in a bidding war.

I appreciate everyone's input. As far as it being a late emblem the actually seem to be worth less than the early ones. Nice used early Sierra Classic dash emblems seem to sell right around $50 and nice used 81 and up Sierra Classic dash emblems seem to sell between $80-100. Used prices are easyas there is a lot of it out there. NOS is where it gets hard!

Put it on ebay and start it at $1. Put a $xxx buy it now on it . No reserve. The buy it now won't go away until it reaches half of the BIN price. You will definitely find the actual value.
