Tempurature Gauge Sensor
When the motor is up to temp (190*) in my K20, the temp gauge is barely on the 2nd line. I would like it to be up in the middle. All of our other 672 Chevy's read the same way. Is there a different sender I can run?

Maybe the needle got moved so it doesn't start in the correct spot on the dial. I have had a few like that.
Hold the spindle still with needle nose pliers and rotate the needle head so it points to the bottom end of the range scale at key on engine off. Speedometers can be off this way too if they are the kind with no limit pin at zero MPH.

Is your sensor in the stock location? did you try a new one yet? I'd be doing that before trying to move a needle with a pair of pliers being as ALL of your chevy's are like that...
Mine is in the wrong location because i don't have stock heads and don't know what will work so i put my sensor in the water pump, it reads low as its reading the temp after it leaves the radiator. I'm still working on a solution.

I guess I should have all 3 chevy's. They are all in the head. I have put two different brands in and they read the same.

Have you changed the wiring harness? If you did any changed i'd post the question in the electrical folder and see if someone like Vettefast can help.
