Fire!!!
Holy fecal matter Batman! I had a small fire in the carb this afternoon. Fortunately I had an extinguisher handy.
I was having trouble restarting the motor after a 16 mile jaunt down the freeway. Evidently I flooded it and a spark hit the gas. Carb definitely needs some tuning. All seems good now, no damage. There is an air cleaner cover but no filter to catch fire. Fortunately for me. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Fire!!!
On a better note... New floors are in, seats fully installed, new rail for door seals welded in. Newly chromed grill should be here next weekend.
Finish the last couple things on the complete rewire the next couple days. Rhino line the metal floor in 2 weeks. Paint soon. Then need some glass work done, need driver side glass replaced and new seals all around, except windshield. It's already been replaced. Finally! I'm close. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Fire!!!
I've been meaning to drop an extinguisher in the burb...used to be really good about having one in everything I'd drive. I'm going to make it happen now! Fire's suck. Glad you were able to contain yours.

Re: Fire!!!
My X fire truck caught fire pulling out of a gas station. I didn't have an extinguisher on board. Luckily a big rig pulled over an put out the fire. Cost me a wiring harness. Glad to hear your OK.
