Re: picture attachment?

I dont know why they didnt tell everyone that this was going on, but here is the link and I posted a little explanation on how to shrink your photo with a program that is free and easy to use.

Re: picture attachment?

The communication problem has existed since I've been a member. I would say that it's not really anyone's fault, it's more of a product of the way folks use the forums and the limited forum staff.

The Forum Staff assume that all users read the forum home page, or at the very least, many of the subforums. In reality, most members that I know have the 60-66 or 67-72 subforum bookmarked and that's where they go directly to keep up on all of the activity. Many, many members never venture outside of the sub-forums that pertain to their specific vehicle.

Forum staff is great about posting notifications, but due to time and staffing constraints, they usually only do that under the "Site Feedback and Announcement" sub-forum:

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/f...splay.php?f=34

Unfortunately, that sub-forum is almost down at the bottom of the page and most members never venture down far enough on the home page for it to catch their eye.

Moral of my ramblings would be to make the Forum homepage your "go to" page and take an occasional moment to explore the other sub-forums.

MisterC I would tend to agree with you, but I do have the main page booked mark and that is where I start, as for are the layout its a little cumberson to get around in the forumn, (no one fault and I like the formn) but there are outdated poster at the bottom of the main page and it seems that it doesnt change much, so unless as you stated, you are looking at it every day and checking to see what has change, most of us dont venture to the bottom of the page. Again I like the forumn! I just think that it could be better set up with less stuff on the main page so that it would be easy to get to the destination of your picking and see what is new to the forumn. (again I like the forumn and the mods) in my mind the home page should be simple with less stuff on it with simple link to get to your favorite truck year from there it could be broke up by truck year for all the other pages ie. (parts, car shows) things of that nature. Having said that I know how difficult it is to change things let along manage web pages, I have my own web server and page and its difficult at best to keep up with when your the only one managing it. So my hat is off to the ops and mods of this forumn in my opinion they do a great job, and thats why I am a supporting member. Enough said.... thank you....

Re: picture attachment?

If u have an iPhone, go to the App Store and download the free app SmartPON!
It allows you to resize pics you've taken with ur phone and it saves them as a new, smaller sized version on your camera roll

Had the same problem so I compressed the photo on my computer and it dropped it to 448 x 335 and 33.8 KB.
