If you live in a warm climate with no a/c they're real nice.

Re: POLL: 67-72 trucks with sliding back window. Yes or No?

Sliding windows are made for function, same as trucks. It's not about looks. The trucks that "look" good with them also look good with other true truck accessories that a slick little shortbed may not. Things like functional mirrors, cab lights, cargo hold downs, auxiliary tank doors, bed rails, step bumper, bumper guards, grille guard, bedside steps, winch, tow hitch, etc. The modern sliding windows are a nice compromise in looks when doing privacy tint on the back window, since they have a black frame.
My '72 K2500 has a factory slider, camper mirrors,Bartens bumper, fuel doors, and cargo hooks. I think those things set it off for what it is and always was. I replaced the original with another that has a Harley Davidson decal on it from this era. I'm an attention to detail type and I like extra stuff as much as less is more. It's all about the overall result.

Re: POLL: 67-72 trucks with sliding back window. Yes or No?

I had one and couldn't stand to use it because it was like a vacuum sucking up crap from the bed into the cab. The only way I would use one again is if I didn't have A/C and the bed had a cover on it.
