Big problem is hopping one up. Last time I looked any performance parts were bank. Great motors but take alot of money and work to make any real RPMs. Not a big deal if the truck has high gears in it but would probably not be your friend with a set of 4.10s. I want to say that the valvetrain needed attention for anything past 4200 RPMs. If the truck is a stick the bellhousing is worth a ton of money to the right person as the 472/500 never had a stick option. I would leave it and enjoy it till it blows.

Plans are to pull motor out. May have a buyer lined up.
