RnD Fabrication 1967-1972 Chevrolet & GMC early C10 / C20 / Blazer Radiators!
I wanted to take a moment and introduce our company, RnD Fabrication (www.rndfabrication.com). We just became a Gold Vendor as we manufacture Aluminum Crossflow Radiators for many vehicles, including the 67-72 Chevy trucks!
RnD Fabrication is proud to introduce our line of 1967-1972 Chevrolet & GMC C10 / C20 / Blazer Radiators! We can build these for stock engines, as well as for LS & other engine conversions with ports in the correct locations for your engine. All units include a transmission cooler at no additional charge (specify when ordering). If you want one for an LS conversion, there is no additional charge, and simply specify if you want the steam port or not. Retail price is $450, and members of this forum get a discounted price of $425. Here is a link to the early C10 page on our website: http://www.rndfabrication.com/C10middle.html Make sure to mention you are a member to get your discount! Also, we make them for 1963-1966 and 1973-1987 models as well! Last edited by SparkyRnD; 08-07-2013 at 02:03 PM. |

Welcome to the forum
You make some very nice products. I really like that your radiators are made in the USA from USA materials.

thanks guys! We believe in quality products, and we firmly believe in USA made products. We are an American company, and we build our products with USA sourced materials, and he hand-make everything and TIG weld each item. No epoxy, no plastics, no junk, period.
We build our radiators for the C10, C20, C30, Blazers, etc. Let us know if we can help out on your project. |

the price is $425 and includes the LS ports, the transmission cooler and a steam port. The rad & fan kit is $220, and the controller with relay is $75. Note that the radiator and fan / shroud kit are your 67-72chevytrucks.com member discounted prices. Shipping is $58. We make them by hand, and the current turn around time is about 2-3 weeks. Can you give us a little more info about your radiators? Are they 1inch tubes or do you offer one?

Re: RnD Fabrication 1967-1972 Chevrolet & GMC early C10 / C20 / Blazer Radiators!
Sure, no problem. All of our radiators feature dual 1" thick cores, for a total core thickness of 2". The original radiators used 1/2" cores, so an old style 4-core is the same thickness as our dual core. Most of our cores are 16 fins per inch, and a few are 15. We find that those are the optimum numbers of fins for cooling. Too few and you don't get as cool. Too many and you bottleneck the air and it can't pass through as quickly and gets hot. We use billet necks that we weld both inside and out. We put in drain ports on every radiator, and we include transmission coolers at no additional charge (can be used for power steering, oil, etc.). We also build them for engine conversion (ie: changing the port locations) for no additional charge. We are an American company, hand making a product using USA-sourced materials (something we take great pride in).
While I realize that there are many choices out there, we hope that you will give us a look. We aren't a large company strictly looking to make profit at any cost, instead we are a company that believes in American-Made products, and we also are hard-core automotive people that like to support our hobby. If you have any questions, you can contact me on any of our threads, by PM, by email or by phone (number and email listed on our website at www.rndfabrication.com). |

I would be very interested in one of these. How many horsepower will they support? Have a Big block and AC both in South Texas.

Re: RnD Fabrication 1967-1972 Chevrolet & GMC early C10 / C20 / Blazer Radiators!
We have these cooling 500-550hp engines using our electric fans. We can support higher horsepower using our high-output fan kits ($100-150 over regular price depending on which fan is selected). A lot depends though on how your engine is built. If your big block is bored 60-over, then that is a different condition than a stock BBC would be. We like to know as many details as possible when you order so that we can tailor the order to your needs.

we have our own black-label fans that are good to around 500-550. After that, or for those that have bored engines, we have Derale and Perma-Cool fans

Hey, Sparky. Welcome to the board as a vendor!!
BTW, this is Matt (Slick68) from p-t.com. That square catch can we had talked about before wouldn't fit the way I wanted.

Good to see you here as well Matt! If we can't get a square to fit, have space for a cylinder style? We can built a custom one if you have some shop drawings you'd like to send over and I can then quote it.
