The carter/weber/edelbrock carb is a real bullet proof design. They can sit forever and still be good. (At least before ethanol). I've always preferred holley cause they are so tunable but they aren't a beginners carb there's a lot to learn on them and yet they are so simple. But I always have an afb carb as a fall back or spare to trade or use or to replace a Jo Kiley on a vehicle so I can keep the holley haha.
Since your in cali you I'm sure you have emissions. You can bypass a lot of the factory presets and change back before another emissions inspection Posted via Mobile Device
