Monojet MV Part Spec question

Rebuilt my Monojet some time back. Taking it apart I noticed that the plunger rod in the vacuum break assembly (part #12 in pic) was missing. I rigged one up during rebuild only to recently find it missing(!) again, only noticed it due to start up/idle changes, apparently not an insignificant part of this carb. So, I have the circular base and the rebuild kit came with a new diaphragm. I would like to replace it properly this time (braise 'em together probably) and was hoping someone with the same carb could give me the length of this small (but necessary) piece. Thanks!

Re: Monojet MV Part Spec question

The one I have measures app 2" . Probably 2-3/8th if I uncurled the end. Also has some curves to it. I'll post a pic as soon as I can locate the camera.

Re: Monojet MV Part Spec question

Disregard above info. After looking at your pic above and the type of monojet you have mine is different. Here's a link to the one I have (post #3).

Re: Monojet MV Part Spec question

Thanks for the help. I'm gonna run with that approximate measurement and adjust if necessary. Frankly, I'm surprised that it makes a noticeable difference without the vac break hooked up, but I'm sure someone smarter than myself put a good deal of thought into designing the carb and every part had it's place.
